Learn Quran with Translation Online
Move from reading the words to understanding them. Study the meaning of the Quran in clear English with a teacher who explains as you read.
Why study the translation?
Many Muslims can recite the Quran beautifully but do not know what they are saying. Understanding the meaning changes how you pray, how you reflect and how you feel when you hear the Quran recited. This course helps you connect with the message while continuing to improve your Arabic reading.
What the course covers
- Word-by-word meaning of the surahs you recite most, starting with Al-Fatiha and the short surahs used in Salah
- High-frequency Quranic vocabulary: a few hundred words make up a large share of the Quran's text
- Simple grammar patterns that help you recognise words on your own
- Context: when and why passages were revealed, explained simply and from reliable sources
- Reflection: practical lessons from each passage for daily life
Who is this course for?
- Adults and teenagers who can read Arabic and want to understand what they recite
- Parents who want to explain the Quran's meaning to their children
- Reverts who want to understand the message alongside learning to read
How lessons work
You recite a short passage, then the teacher breaks it down word by word, highlights repeated vocabulary and explains the overall meaning. You keep a simple vocabulary list that grows each week. Over time you will start recognising words in Salah and in recitation you hear, which is one of the most rewarding moments for any learner.
Lessons are taught in English, and teachers can also explain in Urdu where helpful. Translation study can be combined with Tajweed in the same weekly schedule.
In India: offer ₹1,999/month (regular ₹3,000), ₹9,999 for 6 months (regular ₹15,000) and ₹17,999 for a year (regular ₹27,000), 33% off for students who join before 30 Oct 2026. See India fees.
Quran with Translation: common questions
Do I need to know Arabic grammar first?
No. We start with meanings and the most common words, and introduce small grammar points only when they help you understand.
Is this the same as Tafseer?
Translation focuses on the meaning of the words. We add short, simple explanations of context; deeper Tafseer study can follow for those who want it.
Which translation do you use?
Teachers use well-known, widely respected English translations and explain where wording differs between them.
Can children take this course?
Older children and teenagers can. For younger children we teach the meaning of short surahs and duas as part of their regular class.
