How Much Do Online Quran Classes Cost? A Guide for Parents and Learners

How to compare online Quran class fees fairly, what changes the price, and what to check before you pay.

Quick answer: Prices for online Quran classes vary widely between academies, so compare the price per lesson, not just the monthly fee: check how many classes a week, how long each class is, and whether it is one-to-one. Our current plans are listed on the pricing page, and every plan starts with a 3-day free trial.

What you are really paying for

The fee pays for a teacher’s time. Four things change how much of that time you get: how many classes a week, how long each class is, whether the class is one-to-one or a group, and the teacher’s experience. A plan that looks cheap per month can work out expensive per lesson if it only includes one short class a week.

How to compare plans fairly

  1. Write down the number of classes per month (classes per week × about 4).
  2. Note the length of each class in minutes.
  3. Divide the monthly fee by the number of classes to get the price per lesson.
  4. Check whether it is one-to-one or a group class.
  5. Ask about any extra costs before you pay.

As a worked example, our plans include 30-minute one-to-one classes five days a week, about 20 classes a month. Divide the monthly fee on our pricing page by 20 to get the price per lesson.

Why prices differ so much

Group classes share one teacher between several students, so they cost less per student but give each learner less speaking time. Longer classes, more days a week and specialist courses such as Hifz can also change the price at some academies. Currency matters too: if fees are set in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate.

Questions to ask about extra costs

  • Is there a registration or setup fee?
  • Do you charge extra for a female teacher or for Hifz?
  • Does the plan renew automatically, and how do I cancel?
  • What happens if we miss a class?
  • Which currency will I be charged in?

At our academy, every plan includes any course (Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz or translation) with a male or female teacher. Families in India pay in rupees: ₹3,000 a month, ₹15,000 for 6 months or ₹27,000 for a year at the regular fee. Offer for students who join before 30 Oct 2026: ₹1,999 a month, ₹9,999 for 6 months or ₹17,999 for a year (33% off). (See online Quran classes in India). In other countries, fees are set in US dollars and your bank converts the amount. You can stop a monthly plan at any time before the next billing date; see our terms for six-month and yearly plans.

Online one-to-one or a local madrasah?

Many families use both. A local madrasah or mosque class gives children community and friendship. One-to-one online lessons give each learner the teacher’s full attention and a fixed time at home. Choose what fits your child, your timetable and your budget.
