Female Quran Teacher Online for Girls and Sisters in the UK

If you are looking for a female Quran teacher online in the UK, Quranic Excellence Academy offers live one-to-one lessons where one female teacher works with one learner. Lessons are 30 minutes, booked in UK time, and every plan lets you choose a male or female teacher. You can start with three free lessons over three days, with no card required.

Who learns with a female teacher

• Young girls starting the Arabic letters with Noorani Qaida.
• Teenage girls improving their reading, Tajweed or Hifz around school and exams.
• Adult sisters learning from the very beginning or polishing their recitation in private.
• Mothers who want to learn as well as their children.
• New Muslim sisters learning to read the Quran for the first time.

How a private lesson works

Each lesson is live on video with one learner and one teacher, so every letter and verse you read is heard and corrected straight away. A typical lesson starts with a short revision of the last lesson, moves on to a small new step, and ends with practice. For children, parents are always welcome to sit in, and we suggest the lesson takes place in a shared family room on a device you control.

What you can learn

• Noorani Qaida: the Arabic letters, sounds and joining, step by step.
• Tajweed: reciting with the correct rules and pronunciation.
• Hifz: memorising the Quran with a daily plan and revision. Girls and women can memorise with a female Hafiza; see online Hifz for girls and women.
• Quran with translation: understanding what you recite.

You can read about our teachers on the About page.

Lesson times in UK time

Your lesson is booked in UK time and keeps the same local time when the clocks change between GMT and BST. Children often choose weekday slots after school, while adult sisters often prefer mornings once the children are at school, a lunch break or the evening. Tell us the times that suit you when you book the free trial, and we will confirm a slot with a female teacher.

Safeguarding and peace of mind

UK parents often ask about DBS checks. A DBS check is a UK system and generally covers people with a UK address and history, so teachers based outside the UK cannot normally obtain one. Instead, we suggest practical safeguards: lessons in a shared room, a device you control, and parents free to join any lesson. Bring your questions to the free trial and ask them directly. Our guide on how to choose an online Quran academy lists useful questions.

Fees

Every plan includes 30-minute one-to-one classes five days a week with a male or female teacher, so choosing a female teacher does not change the plan. See the current plans on our pricing page.

A note for sisters who feel nervous about starting

Many adults feel shy about reading aloud, especially if they never learned as children or stopped years ago. That is completely normal. One-to-one lessons go at your pace, nobody else is listening, and you can begin from the very first letter. Our article on Quran classes for sisters with a female teacher has more on what to expect.
